All of the late model Yaesu starting with the FT 9000 through the 101 uses the same Parametric equalizer. The assignment numbers are different but the levels are the same.
The first and most important adjustment will be the transmit bandwidth. Set the TX BW to 400 -2600Hz for DX/Contest work. For everyday conversation,  100 – 2900 Hz.
Set filter one to 200 Hz.	Menu 119	Frequency
Notch this filter -9 dB	Menu 120	Notch or Boost
Bandwidth of 5	Menu 121	Bandwidth
Second Filter 900 Hz	Menu 122	Frequency
Notch -3 dB	Menu 123	Notch or Boost

Third filter 2200 Hz	Menu 125	Frequency

EQ2 – Freq 900 Hz
EQ2 – Level -10
EQ2 – Bandwidth 2
EQ3 – Freq 2100 Hz
EQ3 – Level +10
EQ3 – Bandwidth 2
The settings are the same for usage WITH the Speech Processor although I am having best results by leaving the speech signal OFF and setting the SSB TX Bandwidth to 400-2600Hz. Set the SSB TX Bandwidth (Menu 11-09) to 400-2600 Hz
